If you subscribed to Premium, Pro, or Premium Lite through the Thematic app, your subscription is managed by Apple or Google, not by Thematic directly. Cancel it through your phone's subscription settings rather than the Manage Subscription option on the website.
On iPhone or iPad:
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Thematic.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
On Android:
- Open the Google Play app.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Select Thematic.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

I subscribed on the website, not the app. Do these steps apply to me?
No. If you subscribed at app.hellothematic.com in a browser, cancel from your Settings page using Manage Subscription instead. See "How do I cancel my subscription?" in the Subscriptions & Billing section.
How do I know which one I used?
Check how you originally signed up:
- If you subscribed inside the Thematic app on your phone, it went through the App Store or Google Play.
- If you subscribed on hellothematic.com or app.hellothematic.com in a browser, it went through Thematic's website billing.
I subscribed through the app. Will Manage Subscription on the website work for me?
No. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play can only be canceled through your phone's subscription settings, not through Thematic's Manage Subscription page.
Will canceling through the App Store or Google Play affect my Thematic account?
No. Your account stays active. You'll keep access to your current plan until the end of your billing period, then move to the free plan.
