Your existing videos and licenses stay protected - forever. Cancelling your Premium plan does not affect any video that already has a Thematic license link in its description. Once a license is activated, it is permanent.
You can also keep using any songs you downloaded while on your Premium plan. The license does not expire when your plan does.
